Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Deep Recall ("Service") provides an API for storing, searching, and managing AI agent memory. The Service is operated by Aidan Poole ("we", "us", "our").

2. Account Terms

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.

3. API Usage

• Free accounts are limited to 1,000 memories and 30 requests per minute.
• Paid plans have higher limits as described on our pricing page.
• We reserve the right to rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
• You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage quotas.

4. Data

• You retain ownership of all data you store through the Service.
• We store your data in isolated per-tenant databases.
• We do not access, sell, or share your stored data with third parties.
• You can export all your data at any time via the data export API.
• You can delete all your data at any time via the data deletion API.

5. Payment Terms

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
• No refunds for partial months.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Service Level

• We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it during the beta period.
• We are not liable for data loss, though we take reasonable precautions to prevent it.
• The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to:

• Store content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

8. Termination

We may terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your data through the API.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
